Leatherneck Automotive is owned by retired GySgt Allen McCaffrey and his wife, Kelly.  After serving a distinguished military career in the United States Marine Corps, we decided to use our experience, knowledge, and leadership to start a trustworthy automotive repair shop here in Jacksonville, NC.

Your experience will start with a warm family welcome followed by great and trustworthy customer service and repairs.  We specialize in all makes and models from regular oil changes to complicated repairs like engines and transmissions .  We pride ourselves on being a full service automotive shop.  With over 26 years of experience of working in the automotive field, you can count on your repairs to be done correctly and in a timely manner.  We use high quality replacement parts and stand behind them with our warranty.    
 

About Us

After 17 years in the Marine Corp, Allen and Kelly McCaffrey were looking for a way to give back to the Marine Corp family and the community while planning their future.  With Allen’s extensive training and love for auto repair, it only seemed right to open their own business.  After working in a local shop, it became apparent to Allen that he could offer better service at a better price by owning and managing his own shop.  What began as working out of his home, soon became more than could be handled there.  And so, Allen and Kelly  took a leap of faith and opened Leatherneck Automotive Repair at 2430 Onslow Drive in Jacksonville on April 8, 2017.

 

The mission of Leatherneck Automotive Repair is to offer reliable, quality service for their customers, old and new.  We specialize in all types of mechanical work from tune ups, suspensions and transmissions.  No job is too big or too small and all work is guaranteed.
